We had an amazing first training session of the season last Friday at Hebe Haven! Our team dove into essential sailing skills, including onshore tacking procedures, handling our three dinghies, and putting up sails. We sailed along both beam reaches and upwind courses learning how to tune our sails and weight to maximise speed. We ended off a great first day of sailing with a quick swim in the pristine waters of Trio beach.
The energy was fantastic as everyone worked together to build confidence on the water and develop teamwork skills. It was a wonderful opportunity for both seasoned sailors and beginners to come together and learn.
