Meet our well-established and expert teaching team
Mr Adam Broomfield is an experienced educator with over 25 years of experience in education across early years, elementary, and secondary levels in Australia, China and Hong Kong.
He has held senior leadership positions in schools for over 16 years, the last 14 being in International Schools. His most recent position has been at The International Montessori School of Hong Kong where he led the school through a significant period of growth and expansion. He is passionate about building strong relationships with students and creating a community in which students enjoy coming to school, feel valued and can achieve their best. He looks forward to getting to know your family and children. He loves Australian rules football, cricket, reading and cooking.
Adam has been in Hong Kong for 11 years with his wife (who is also a teacher) and his 11 year old daughter. He holds an MA in School Leadership, BA Primary Teaching, BA Arts (History and Literature), Grad Certificate Child and Adolescent Mental Health all from Monash University in Melbourne.
Ms Emma is a widely experienced teacher who joined the school three years ago as Senior Teacher with responsibilities for staff management and academic attainment at the school.
Ms Emma has taught at a range of schools in both the UK and in Hong Kong. She graduated from UCL and holds the professional qualification for School leaders, the NPQSL.
Ms Patricia is a teacher in the Primary School and teaches languages in the Secondary School. She gained a first class degree in Modern Languages from the University of Southampton (UK) and a PGCE. She is a native English and native Spanish teacher and fluent in French, with conversational Mandarin too. She has taught at schools both in the UK and internationally.
Dr Robert brings a wide variety of educational experience and skills to his teaching, from inner London schools to leading universities, and this year leads our Y3 class.
He is a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Southampton in the UK and holds Masters and Bachelors degrees too. Dr Robert is also an accomplished musician who helped produce our School musical last year.
Mr Shentin previously taught at Malvern College and at the ESF West Island School. He held the Jakes Gerwel Fellowship at University and is a keen sailor, having been a committee member at the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club and a sailing coach at Hebe Haven Yacht Club.
Ms Lizzie holds a first class degree in Primary Education and is a widely experienced educator, having worked in a number of positions in schools in Hong Kong and the UK, including Deputy Principal and as an educational consultant.
Ms Victoria has worked at the school for over four years and has worked successfully in a variety of roles from one-to-one teaching to Head of Admissions. She is also a talented linguist, having lived in France, and is also an enthusiastic and creative artist!
Mr James works to support classes and individuals across the school and is also an experienced coach of Rugby, Cricket, and Netball.
He graduated from the University of Northumbria in the UK.
Having taught Y5 last year, Mr Keeran has once again taken the Y5 class teacher mantle this year in addition to his responsibilities leading sports at Oxbridge School.
Mr Keeran also led our school study tour in the Summer of 2023 to Bromsgrove School in the UK and is a keen football fan. Mr Keeran graduated from the University of Pretoria.
Mr Keith is an experienced ESL teacher having taught previously in a number of countries. He recently gained a PGCE from Sunderland University in Primary teaching and originally studied at University in Manchester (UK) Mr Keith is a keen footballer.
Ms Karina is a widely experienced teacher in the lower years and has taught our Year 1 class for the past two years. She is a multitalented person who can often be heard singing and playing the ukulele in her classroom as well as being a champion competitor in board games!
Karina studied Education at the University of Alberta before moving to teach in Hong Kong.
Ms Tammy is a teacher and is also responsible for Music across the school. She is a noted pianist and an experienced choral conductor, able to get the very best from children's voices. Ms Tammy was the producer of our amazing School Musical "Shakespeare Rocks!" this year and has worked at Oxbridge School for over four years.
Miss Tammy likes to travel and led the school tour to Bromsgrove School in the UK last Summer and also led our school exchange with St Andrew's School in Bangkok in November 2023.
Mr Chris previously worked at CDNIS and Harbour School before moving to Oxbridge School. He studied History at Oxford Brookes University and is a keen sportsperson and a FIDE-rated chess player who has played at tournament level since he was a teenager.
Ms Shaheena has taught at Oxbridge School for over three years, supporting students in Y1 and Y2, and is an expert in our lower years teaching.
She holds bachelor's degrees in Education and also in Science. and is a registered teacher.
Ms Cathy is our Chinese specialist who studied at Tianjin University, China, and teaching in all year groups and also runs our popular Chinese Calligraphy activity.
Mr Evan has run the Principal's office for the past three years and is the central contact for most matters in the school. He is also in charge of the school's administrative and domestic staff. He previously held similar roles at Harrow School and Wycombe Abbey School in Hong Kong.
