Dear Parents and Friends,

As we are at the end of the 2024-25 school year, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible learning journey we have shared. This year has been filled with memorable moments that have shaped our community and enriched the lives of our students.

Since August 2024, we have witnessed remarkable achievements. Our students excelled in their academic studies in the classroom, in assessments and in use of IXL to extend learning with over 350,000 questions answered this year. A remarkable figure! I am also particularly proud of the fact that over 60% of our students are at a reading level above those of their peers in UK schools. An amazing achievement for a HK School  Students have participated in various challenges that showcased their talents, including our own “Inter House Chess Competition”, the wonderful Christmas showcase including the school musical, and the "Voices for the Planet 2025" event, where they demonstrated their commitment to wildlife preservation. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by our young learners have been truly inspiring.

We have seen significant progress from students following our English Integration Pathway. This programme focuses on supporting students in their English language development, helping them integrate more effectively within the classroom.

In addition to academic success, we have strengthened our community ties through numerous events such as the Meet and Greet at the start of the year and our annual Sports Day which was a real highlight, bringing together families and friends to celebrate teamwork and sportsmanship. The joy on our students' faces as they competed and cheered for one another was a testament to the spirit of camaraderie that defines Oxbridge School.

We engaged in a wide range of enrichment activities, including sailing lessons, and toop part in the “Baseball5’s World Cup”, and visits to various NGOs like the “Crossroads Foundation.” These experiences have fostered a love for learning beyond the classroom and introduced them to a number of new experiences that will shape their future thinking.

Our extracurricular activities flourished this year, with students participating in clubs such as robotics, fencing, and chess, among others. These opportunities have nurtured their skills, helped them forge lasting friendships, and developed their confidence.

As we look towards the future, I want to express my gratitude for your support. The partnership between us has been instrumental in creating a nurturing environment where students can thrive.

I am excited about the upcoming academic year and the exciting new opportunities it will bring. Together, let us continue to inspire our students to reach their fullest potential.

Wishing you all a restful and joyful summer holiday.

Warm regards,

Mr. JL Shooter
Principal
