Key responsibilities

 

Creating and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that empower students to achieve their academic and personal best

 

Leading and expanding the provision of performing arts including music lessons, performances and an annual whole school musical

 

Contributing actively to the school's sporting, activities, and enrichment programmes

 

About you

 

Experienced and enthusiastic Music and Drama teacher

 

Relevant teaching experience gained in a UK curriculum school

 

Bachelor's or Master's degree in the teaching subject or a related field

 

Recognised teaching certification (e.g., PGDE, QTS) and already attained, or have eligibility to become a Registered Teacher in Hong Kong

 

Proven experience as a classroom teacher within a school following the British curriculum

 

Demonstrable skill in employing a variety of teaching and assessment methods to cater to diverse learning styles

 

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, colleagues, and parents

 

A genuine passion for education and a strong commitment to the school's values

 

Outstanding organisational skills, attention to detail, and time management to ensure effective planning, assessment, and reporting

 

A proven understanding of and commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
