We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our many Oxbridge students who took part in the recent Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival.
This annual event is one of Hong Kong's most prestigious platforms for public speaking, verse speaking, and dramatic expression, and our students rose to the challenge with confidence, poise, and skill.
Yet beyond the well-deserved certificates and accolades lies a deeper purpose. The experience of performing before an adjudicator and a live audience is a truly valuable component of their educational development. It teaches students to manage nerves, think on their feet, project their voice with clarity, and communicate with authenticity. These are not just competition skills—they are life skills.
At Oxbridge School, we believe that education extends far beyond textbooks and examinations. Participating in festivals like this nurtures resilience, self-expression, and the courage to be heard. Every student who stepped onto that stage took a meaningful step toward becoming a more articulate, confident, and empathetic individual.
We extend our warmest congratulations to all participants, and our sincere thanks to their dedicated teachers and supportive families who helped prepare them so well.
